We're a finalist!
We have some exciting news here at Noir HQ. We've made it to the Best Sustainable Business Award finals of The Wandsworth Women's Enterprise Awards, which were created to spotlight the achievements of female entrepreneurs in our borough. The awards will take place this Wednesday at the 10th Women's Enterprise Day. Speakers include Fashion Designer Karen Millen and Author and broadcaster Viv Groskop, most famous for her educational and funny 'How to own the room' podcast which we are fans of. It's been a real privilege to be nominated - we feel like winners already - given it's only our second winter of trading.
It's been a long long winter here in the UK and we have a new colourway to celebrate and mark the change in seasons. As you know we love working with and supporting our local community. The Hurlingham Club and Queen's Club, two of our nearest tennis clubs, asked us if we'd make a base layer for their players, who have to wear whites from the end of March to the end of September. But it's not just for tennis and looks fabulous under a gilet or body warmer. It's perfect for changeable days, travel and air conditioned offices. Of course I had to try one as soon as they arrived and have already worn it for 5 meetings, 4 chilly evenings out, 3 flights and 2 games of padel.
