We know it’s a busy time of the year. Some, like Bex here, have already bought all their Christmas presents, and are now easing into the festive celebrations with a satisfied merry glow. But for the rest of us? Well we’re here to make your Christmas just a tiny bit easier, by gifting you a little extra time. As Tim Harford noted in his excellent article about trying to navigate the task of choosing presents*, a point reinforced in Bernd Stauss’s 2023 book chapter “Gifts and Gender: Santa Claus is a Woman”, there is something particularly stubborn about gender roles at Christmas. His research concludes that women still seem to be the ones buying the joint gifts and wrapping all the presents. So if you still have presents you have to buy, perhaps because your list is so long, or last minute is just the way you roll, we can help, by offering a Royal Mail 24 hour tracked postage service, at no extra cost, on all purchases made up until 4pm on Sunday 21st December (to give us time to wrap and process your purchases).**
Then, for those with a delivery address inside the M25, you have the option of choosing ‘Pick Up’ for free delivery on purchases up until 12 noon on Monday 22nd December, hopefully giving us a chance to cycle over to your front door before it gets dark.
Did we mention that we’ve extended our returns until 7th January, if the colour or fit isn't right, to cover the Christmas rush and expanding waistbands?
